Open Access Policy

JURISTA: Jurnal Hukum dan Keadilan is committed to the principles of open access and the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. All articles published in the journal are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or registration barriers.

The journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, reproduce, adapt, and build upon published articles, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source of publication.

Copyright and Author Rights

Authors retain the copyright to their published work and grant JURISTA the right of first publication. Authors may share, archive, reproduce, and reuse their published articles in accordance with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

Accessibility and Archiving

Published articles shall remain openly accessible through the journal website and may be deposited by authors in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other lawful scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication and DOI are properly acknowledged.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission for any copyrighted material, figures, tables, images, or other third-party content included in their manuscripts that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons license.

Open Access Commitment

JURISTA believes that immediate and unrestricted access to scholarly research promotes greater visibility, transparency, scholarly collaboration, knowledge transfer, and global academic impact. The journal therefore supports responsible sharing and reuse of research while ensuring appropriate attribution to authors and preservation of the scholarly record.

Finally, JURISTA follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative’s (BOAI) definition of open access, meaning readers may freely read, download, copy, print, share, link to the full text of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
